DELEGATIONS ARE ASSEMBLING THEIR STANDS 22 COUNTRIES - 24 SCHOOLS

One of the duties of each of the schools invited for the event is a presentation of the Christmas customs and traditions characteristic for the country or region they come from. In a huge conference hall upstairs the Academy's maintenance personnel installed 25 fully equipped stands, one for each school.

Traditionally the time of assembling the stands has been a really busy and noisy period. As usual, enthusiastic young people were running about, doing their best to make their stands look beautiful and unique. Each stand had its own flag, the name of both the school and the country it came from:

Bled (Slovenia), Senigallia (Italy), Loreto (Italia), Semmering (Austria), Szeged (Hungary), Tirana (Albania), Copenhagen (Denmark), Athens (Greece, Bonneville (France), Sliven (Bulgaria), Polczyn Zdrój (Poland), Eindhoven (The Netherlands, Peru, Tartu and Kuressaare ( Estonia), Podebrady ( Czech Republic), Stresovo (Macedonian Republic), Presov (Slovakia), Poznan (Poland), Orebro and Goteborg (Sweden), Budapest (Hungary) , Portrush (Northern Ireland), Minsk ( Beorussia)
Yet one of the stands remained empty even though all the others were full of people busy decorating their stands. It was the stand of the school from Strezova in Macedonian Republic. We have learnt that our Macedonian friends were not granted Polish visas and therefore were unable to come. It was a huge disappointment for all the participants.

Assembling the stands is always an important moment. The participants really get to know each other!

The Italian Crib made of pasta was a great sensation and made a big impression on all visitors.
