The delegations enjoy their stay in Marseille, European Capital of Culture 2013.Dear AEHT members,
Please find enclosed the English version of the 22nd edition of the AEHT electronic newsletter including two main articles, one on the AEHT 25th Anniversary cruise and the second one on the AEHT Christmas in Europe event in Marseille.
This is a project of vocational training in a European dimension on the theme of Christmas festivities in the context of regional, cultural and religious but also gastronomic traditions. This annual event is organised publicly by a member school of the AEHT, every year in an other country.
Last year in Marseille, 16 schools from 13 countries enjoyed the parade on December 10th leading them from the 'Old Port' through the city area 'Le Panier' back to the Town Hall, where the delegation were recieved by the deputy mayor, Mr Jacques Rocca Serra.
The delegations enjoy their stay in Marseille, European Capital of Culture 2013. Below the Slovak delegation, that will host the event in 2014.
This event has been co-funded in 2011, 2012 and 2013 by the Youth in Action Programme and in 2014 by the Erasmus+ KA1 Programme of the European Commission.
A team of 14 years old students of the High School Ermesinde Mersch (L) have shot a video during the 2012 edition of the Christmas in Europe event in Budapest (HU). This video will give you a good insight into the various aspects of this event and we hope to make you want to participate in one of the next editions.
The 23rd edition of the European Christmas event will be held in Presov, Slovakia.
