Chef from the Senigallia IPSSARCT Panzini – Ambassador for Italian Culinary Arts in Bangkok.

untitled-1
The Chef Massimo Bomprezzi, a teacher at the Panzini Institute in Senigallia and at the Jesi ‘Italcook’ in Bangkok, has just successfully completed a project which he carried out together with the chef Andrea Alimenti from Arezzo by Simonetta Sagrati

The project took place in the ‘Italianate’ restaurant housed in the Conrad hotel, a new generation hotel considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world – it contains a total of eight restaurants. The two Italian chefs used the restaurant to present Italian produce and gastronomy by producing typical regional dishes from Tuscany and Le Marche (The Marches) and by presenting the companies which sponsored the project.

It was the Gustobus agency that initiated the project. One of the objectives of Gustobus is to promote companies which provide services and draw up marketing strategies and publicity campaigns advertising the quality of their products and promoting throughout the world high quality food, health and a healthy life-style. The experience of the two chefs turned out to be very enriching and interesting from a professional point of view: they had the opportunity to learn about the internal organisation of the hotel as well as about an enthusiastic, professional and courteous approach to work.

In drawing up two gastronomic menus and two à la carte menus of fish and meat dishes, Bomprezzi and Alimenti worked closely with the restaurant staff. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and operates with exclusively Thai kitchen staff, except for the Italian chef. All the staff paid very close attention to the training sessions given by the two Italian ‘masters’ during the first two days. Among the many guests were the Italian ambassador Ignazio Pace and Mrs Bollinger, Banfi sales manager for Asia. But the two chefs’ happiness was complete when they received visits from famous chefs from Bangkok’s best restaurants.

Moreover the executive chef of the ‘Italianate’ restaurant gave them the opportunity to organise, within this Thai structure, training placements for students from the Panzini Institute in Senigallia, an institute with a well-established reputation both in Italy and throughout Europe; chef Bomprezzi takes every opportunity to promote his school abroad, notably during his recent trips to the USA and Brazil.

Massimo Bomprezzi is in fact increasingly committed to his work as roving ambassador for Italian gastronomy, and as a promoter of the professionalism and dynamism of the "Alfredo Panzini" Institute in Senigallia, Italy.
