‘WE ARE THE WORLD, WE ARE THE CHILDREN …’
One of the set pieces of Christmas in Europe is the cultural part which gives each delegation the opportunity to present a representative sample of the Christmas tradition of their region or country. Sometimes, and taking into account the personalities involved, they present sketches which are more or less adapted, more or less realistic or else simply invented. They may involve songs, dance, story-telling, video presentations – each delegation brings its own contribution to the evening. And this was what happened at the Kurhaus on Tuesday December 7th at 19.00. Each contribution was introduced by the arrival of each delegation’s flag, followed by an moving finale.
The flags arrive on stage.
A VERY ‘AEHT’ FINALE!
Klaus Enengl on the guitar, Zvone Baskovc on the accordion and Marc Tock on the trumpet interpreting ‘We are the world, we are the children …’ with the whole audience enraptured and students dancing on the stage. This was a high moment during this Christmas in Europe, which everyone will remember for a long time to come.

On the stage all the participants in this evening join in singing the
famous song ‘we are the world…’
