A SUCCESSFUL EUROPEN BUFFET
Another essential component of Christmas in Europe is the European Buffet. Planned to give an overview of the gastronomic specialities of each country, the buffet is also one of the strongest elements in the unfolding of the event. In Kuressaare, the group had for its venue the Capital Hall of the Bishop’s Castle. Magnificent! Simply magnificent!
The walls of the castle, illuminated and snow-covered, torches in the entrance arch, reception to the ceremony by entrance into the hall, classical music played by a string quartet, muffled ambiance and half-light inspiring a genial contemplation. All here for our group. The buffet, requiring storehouses of ingenuity on the part of the delegations to transport to the heights of the castle. And the high quality also, allowing the 200 invited guests and the delegations to chose from the innumerable specialities offered for tasting throughout the evening.
As was his right, Neeme Rand received the guests and his brief words of welcome, he praised all of the sponsors who helped to make the event possible and also Mr Jüri Saar, Governor of Saare County, Patron of the event, who also addressed a few words of welcome from the island of Saaremaa.

Neeme Rand mentions the sponsors and some of the individuals
present at the reception.
